Our son absolutely hated being on his stomach for the first few months. He was calm and relaxed on his back and after a few Dr. visits we were warned about Plagiocephaly (Flat head syndrome.) This was the perfect alternative to forcing him to be on his stomach when he wasn't ready for that "leap" yet. Though not all cases of Plagiocephaly can be fixed or prevented by a BabyMoon pillow it worked wonders for our son!!! It is a must buy for the fact that it works, comforting to your baby and is washable as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this pillow for any parent that is looking for a safe head support for their baby.
