At baby's 4 month appointment Dr referred us to get baby a helmet. We have horrible insurance so it would have been very expensive. I bought this pillow instead and it did WONDERS! Anytime he was laying down I would have him on this pillow and within a week you could see a difference! It's very easy to wash as you just tuck the velcro part under the pocket. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a baby. Heck give it to mothers-to-be to prevent flatness on the heads from the start!

If you're like me, you are worried sick about flat head. I just received this pillow and I can say I'm already glad that I ordered it. As other have mentioned, it's relatively small but it's the perfect size for my 12 week old. There is a little Velcro area at the end of the pillow to make smaller or larger by about 3 inches. The fabric is machine washable. I tossed mine in the dryer and there are no issues.

My son seemed to like it right away. We used it for 25 minutes on his play gym today. Now I feel better about letting him lay on the floor! I plan on using this while my son is on his bouncer and rock n play,

I would suggest this to every mother, flat head syndrome is a very common problem and my pediatrician suggested this, I think it made a small difference.

I wish I would have bought this for my son earlier, but I didn't realize his head was getting flat until he was almost 5 months old. His head has rounded out a bit thanks to this pillow. We bought two and used it in his crib, changing table, and any other time he was laying on his back. 2 months later we still use it on his changing table, but he sleeps on his side or stomach now, so no need to use it in the crib. I'm sad I bought this so late for my son, but I plan on using it from day 1 whenever I have another baby!
