At my daughters 2 month check up, we were told her head was really flat. And that they would check up on it at the 4 month visit. Not wanting my daughter to need to wear a helmet I started searching for a cure. I kept the baby moon in her carseat and whenever she was flat on her back. After two months of continuous use, the dr was very happy with her head shape and we've never had to address the problem again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Love this pillow! Bought it for my 2.5month old daughter,because her head looked a little flat to me ( ped was not too concerned). I love this pillow, we use it in the swing, in the crib (i know, but she loves it and she sleeps right beside us), when playing on the mat etc. I think it even helps her sleep better!! Totally worth the money!

My baby head was still flat at 4 month mark so my wife got worried. The doctor said it's normal and the skull will grow and push out over time but my wife and I wanted to be safe. I myself has a flathead still and its on the same side as my son so I don't want it to happen to my little one. We bought the Babymoon Pod and got it about 4 days later. We washed it before use per instruction. After it was dried, the pillow retains its shape and firmness, I was impressed because most pillow will shrink. So don't be afraid to wash it in your washer/dryer (I dried it with my dryer for only 10 mins and let air dry).

The pillow is adjustable for the circumference so that's a great feature. It has a foldable pad so when your baby outgrows the pillow and the pad will cover the Velcro part. Don't let your baby head touch the Velcro pad because it will make a red spot on the neck/skin that will look like eczema. So after 4 weeks of using this, the flat part of the head is starting to come out. Of course, we also practice a lot of tummy time and holding time so the only time the baby head is lying down is when he sleeps or when he's playing lying down flat. We use the pillow even at night time when baby sleeps, with supervision at all time because the pillow could be obstructing airway if baby turns over to his tummy. Now baby is at month 5 and the head is getting more round, we are so happy, we even recommended this pillow to an ICU doctor at my work place. Imagine an intensive care doctor asks me for advice about flat head! This baby moon pods looks like a very high quality pillow, we can save it for our future baby or give it to someone we know.
