Works. i was so worried about my sons head shape , it was getting so flat from the back since he likes sleeping head flat up. My oldest son also had a flat head and we got the 3k helmet and it round it out but as soon as he stopped using it he's head got back to flat!! He's 4 now and his head is pretty flat:( .. so I bought this for my baby in hopes of preventing the helmet. I love it! I wish I would of heard about it sooner!
