I noticed that our 2.5 month old son was developing some flatness at the back of his head. After doing some research, i thought the mimos pillow would be the best, based partly on the review also on the hefty price tag. However, there is no way i can get the mimos pillow it seems as it does not ship to the US, and it costs much more to buy from Amazon UK. So i decided to give the baby moon pillow a try. I am glad to say that it really worked. We use it in the crib, covering it with a light swaddle blanket tucked in on both ends to prevent our baby's head from slipping off. Our son loves it and he sleeps so well on it. The pillow is very soft and seems to be well made. Other people complain about it being thick. but it is not thick if you just let the two ends barely touch each other, that's what we did, and it created the perfect thickness to raise the baby's head without being uncomfortable on his neck. Also we use the snuggy one for playmat and changing table ($14 each). After a week of diligently using them in combination, our son's head is much rounder now and almost back to normal. So I highly recommend the pillow.
