When my son was 2m old I noticed he had a severe flat spot on the right side of his head. He was in the nicu for a week after he was born with a brachial plexus injury and I always noticed he preferred to sleep facing his right. I became very concerned and talked with some friends who had to eventual put their child in a helmet for Plagiocephaly I knew I wanted to prevent that the best I could. When I brought it up to my pediatrician he said it would round out on its own and kind of blew me off. Frustrated, I looked for other options besides the positional therapy I was already doing and came across this pillow. I ordered two, one for the crib and one for the living room for his swing and pallet. From the beginning my son loved it and didn't pay much attention to it. Anytime he is not in my arms he's resting his head on the babymoon. I DO let him sleep in the pillow, he never moves out of facing midline and he sleeps next to me in his crib, it's never been an issue for my child. My son is now 4m old and I am shocked by how round his head is! There is almost no flat spot at all! My parents are amazed as well at the results. To anyone on the fence about purchasing this pillow, I say go for it! Its the miracle pillow!
