This pillow is absolutely amazing to treat flat head syndrome. I was quite skeptical at first, especially after the pillow arrived and I realized that I had just paid $27.00 for a baby pillow, but after only a week my daughter's head was starting to round out perfectly. She was a preemie and had become accustomed to sleeping on her left side, even now she still rolls to that side after 5 months. The left side was EXTREMELY flat. I had spoken to her pediatrician about it but she said that she didn't think that a helmet was needed, just more tummy time and as she got older her head should become more round but as time went on, the left side just kept getting flatter so I did a search and came up with this pillow...best decision ever! I highly recommend to anyone who just had a baby or whose baby is experiencing a flat spot. I am definitely going to buy one from the very beginning with the second little one who comes along.
