Color: Baby Blue
I saw this product at one of my girlfriend's baby showers and decided to get one for my baby when she was born. I am very pleased to say that I have definitely it to great use. I bought the pillow in baby pink and it is incredibly soft and plush! For those busy moments in the day when I am not always able to cradle my baby, she is lying down in her play gym on her Babymoon pillow. The opening in the pillow is a genius way to allow her to lay down yet not have her head rest against a firm surface. With flat head syndrome being on the rise, I love this idea. I am not taking any chances in letting this affect my little girl. I am also looking forward to using this as a neck support in the stroller once she gets a little older (as suggested by the manufacturer).
A lot of reviewers have mentioned that their babies are sleeping with this product. Yikes! Please note that according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, they recommend against having any loose objects such as pillows or blankets in the crib. This is stated very clearly on the product's care label: "Do not allow baby to fall asleep using pillow. Do not use in bed or crib, etc."
Lastly, did I mention I love the fact that this product is made in the USA? This is a very nice surprise as many companies tend have their products made in China. Sure, it may cost nearly $30 after it's all said and done - but hey, would you rather pay a premium for products that are manufactured in the United States or pennies for something that's made in who-knows-what-conditions? I'll definitely be getting these as gifts for my expectant friends! Unique and useful!
