I really credit this pillow for changing the shape of our son's head and avoiding the helmet! We had taken him to get assessed by a helmet place after our pediatrician noticed his head. His measurements were not great and would have warranted a helmet at the time, but he was only 3 months old so they told us to wait a month and then see. After using this pillow during playtimes and when he was in his bouncy seat, we saw a huge difference. When we took him back to the helmet place, his measurements were much better. I wish I still had the pictures to post, it was a noticeable difference and I had not been hopeful that a pillow would help. We are expecting another baby and I plan to use it proactively this time and I'm sure this baby will never have a flat head!
